Virtual Appointment Requirements:
In order to conduct a video-based appointment via Doxy.me, you must have a computer or smartphone with a camera as well as a working microphone and speakers. Doxy.me will work on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari browsers on computers and android phones. If you are using an iphone, please use Safari as the website will not work with other mobile browsers. No downloads are needed and your information will remain secure. Please make sure you have your camera, microphone, and sound turned on before your appointment or we will have to reschedule you to a new time. If you do not sign-in within 10 minutes of your scheduled appointment, you will be required to call our office to reschedule. These visits will be charged to your insurance the same as an in-office visit would be, except for a couple of coding changes. Your copay and any past-due balance will be collected over the phone while you are scheduling. It is imperative that you conduct this appointment in a location that has a good internet connection to ensure a clear video and audio stream. If your provider performs a virtual visit, but would also like to examine the child in person, they will forward you to the receptionist to schedule a regular sick visit and your appointment will resume once you are in the office. If that is the case, you will only be charged for one visit.
